NOIDA: Directing all the schools in Noida to abide by the UP Self-Financed Independent Schools (Fixation of Fee) Ordinance 2018, the UP additional chief secretary Sanjay Agrawal on Friday asked the schools to upload the revised on their or notice boards by July 15, adding that action will be taken against those which fail to do so.

The secretary also clarified the formula to be used for calculation of the revised fee for the year 2018-19. The fee bill allows every school to increase the fees for old students equivalent to the per cent increase in the staff salary provided fee increase must not exceed latest published consumer price index (CPI) plus 5%.
The ordinance says the base year for calculation of increase in fee is 2015-16 and extra amount will have to be refunded if parents have paid more than what is required. The amount will either be refunded or fee will have to be adjusted in the current year.
