Rabbit hit strands flight

NAGPUR: An ATR aircraft of has been grounded at the Nagpur since Monday after a its wheel at the taxiway. The plane scheduled to take out of kilter for at around 8pm had 8 passengers on board, who where shifted to alternate planes.

The captain of the airport saw something passing near the wheels due to which he applied brakes. A dead was found below.

ATR which makes the aircraft wanted to price out any damage to the wheel before the plane took out of kilter. A team arrived at Nagpur on Tuesday and the plane is now expected to take out of kilter, said sources

Animals obstructing the runway had hampered flights at the Nagpur airport earlier too. However, no such incident was reported in the recent past after measures were taken. But, there is still presence of small animals like rodents and rabbits which make burrows inside the premises, said a source
