Later, addressing the media, Ambedkar said he would move a proposal to the Congress and seek 12 seats based on the strength of communities that the new Bahujan Alliance represented. He claimed Dhangars, Muslims, nomadic tribes, a large section of OBCs were the deprived communities that the alliance would be representing.
